Eliza Jane Opens Its Doors to the Fox Valley
One of a Kind Boutique/Spa in Downtown St. Charles Pampers Women of All Ages
St. Charles, IL – April 17, 2007 – Eliza Jane, a unique day spa and gift boutique, celebrated its official launch today in downtown St. Charles. A combination of day spa, upscale boutique and Eliza Jane University, an etiquette school, Eliza Jane was welcomed to the community by the St. Charles Mayor, Downtown St. Charles Business Partnership and members of the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce with an official ribbon cutting ceremony.
Founded on the principals of beauty, style and grace, Eliza Jane offers a luxurious mix of retail merchandise and a full line of spa services that includes manicures, pedicures, eyelash extensions, facials and waxing. The boutique boasts such high-end product from Lug, Me! Bath products, Eye Kandy, ecoist, The Lippmann Collection, Alexis Drake, David & Goliath and luxury jewelry and card lines from local residents.
Eliza Jane is the first boutique/spa in the nation to offer an etiquette curriculum aptly named Eliza Jane University. The six-week program is taught through the curriculum from the American School of Protocol in Atlanta, GA. Classes will teach children of all ages a multitude of social graces that seem to be oft forgotten in today’s fast paced society. The etiquette course touches on subjects such as telephone manners, fine dining and the art of conversation and correspondence. Graduation is a formal five-course dinner at the historic Hotel Baker in downtown St. Charles. Other EJU classes include a Girl Scouts manners badge and wedding etiquette.
“Eliza Jane combines the best of both worlds: an upscale retail experience to enjoy and a place to be pampered,” said Megan Hoffrichter, owner of Eliza Jane. “Girls 8 to 80 can all find something that appeal to their particular tastes and interests at our new boutique.”
Eliza Jane also boasts the Chicago area’s only Imaginail, a device that prints nail art images onto fingernails. Guests at the spa can add an artistic flair to their nails, selecting from over 300 images that range from seasonal items like birthday cupcakes to flowers to school sports logos. For those just looking for a traditional manicure, Eliza Jane features a nail bar set up with side-by-side stools and also pedicure stations that allow guests to converse with their companions, as their nails are being buffed and polished. Other services include the “turn back the clock” facial, ice cream sundae pedicure (featuring flavors of chocolate, pomegranate, vanilla or strawberry/kiwi), waxing and eyelash extensions.
